Letter from the President

Dear Friends of Cal Farley's,

Since becoming Cal Farley's President and CEO last July, I am amazed regularly by the great things that happen at Cal Farley's.  Even with more than 10 years under my belt working in other roles within Cal Farley's, the depth and breadth of this institution never has astounded me more than it has in the last year.

Whether it's the achievements of our kids at Boys Ranch and Girlstown; breakthroughs with our kids working with our Family Resource Centers in Amarillo, Arlington, and Houston; or seeing one of our kids graduate from college, I count my blessings to lead an organization so committed to children and families. Those blessings include:

• A focused and involved Board of Directors that brings a wealth of expertise thanks to members' varied professional backgrounds in banking, education, farming, medicine, ranching, oil and gas, small businesses and social services.

• Highly-trained and committed staff at every level of the organization that ensure kids are first in everything that we do.

• More than 100,000 supporters from Texas and throughout the country that enable Cal Farley's to be the nation's largest privately-funded child welfare provider specializing in both residential and community based services at no cost to the families of children in our care.

But, most of all, we are blessed by the children's family members who have the wisdom to recognize their child needs help and the confidence in us to place their child in Cal Farley's care.

I want to thank our board members, donors, and staff, because with your invaluable support, we will continue to live our Cal Farley mission.
