Services

During the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007, more than 2,000 families and children were served either in residence, through alumni support services, through our Family Resource Centers, or information and referral services.

In Residence:
A total of 390 boys and girls resided at our two campuses. Goal achievement drives the length of stay of our residents. The average length of stay for residents at each campus was 2.17 years.  Forty-three seniors graduated from Boys Ranch and Girlstown in May 2007.

Casework Services:
All campuses provide services for families with children in residence.

After Care:
Upon completion of goals, we help residents transition back to their communities in a variety of ways, including direct assistance or referral to an appropriate community resource.

Scholarship Assistance:
As part of the After Care program, students who achieve program goals are eligible for scholarship assistance after they leave our programs. Last year 80 students received direct financial assistance for technical training or an academic degree program after high school. The students receive monthly follow-up and support, as well as financial help.

Information and Referral:
Although our primary service is residential basic care, many times families who contact us need help other agencies can provide. We try to help everyone that calls by providing information and referral services.

The Cal Farley organization provides programs and services for at-risk boys and girls from throughout the United States at no charge to parents.

Although we are Christian-based, we do not discriminate on religious preference, gender, national origin or ethnicity.
